Company Intro
Nonna Tonda, a company co-founded by husband and wife James and Rebecca, was born of an enlightening culinary adventure in Italy. Launched in 2020, Nonna Tonda specialises in delivering authentic and sustainable Italian pasta dishes made with premium ingredients. To achieve this, the company imports Italian food items such as cheese and purchases custom-built machinery from Europe.

Challenge
Making international B2B payments can be a challenge, especially for small businesses. Getting a good rate whilst avoiding hidden fees, slow settlement times and a lack of transparency can be daunting. Furthermore, ensuring security and convenience without losing one to the other is no easy task.
Making international payments was a challenge before using Crezco. Specifically, getting a good rate on international transactions and the lack of transparency was difficult. We were also looking for security in the payment process. We previously used Lloyds.
Within Nonna Tonda, Theo, holds dual roles as the financial manager and data analyst. His responsibilities include directing the company's long-term financial strategy, managing cash flows, organising invoices, ensuring that employees are paid on time, and evaluating the profitability of different facets of the business.
Theo started looking for a convenient payment solution tailored for their international needs, along with a secure and transparent way for handling payments with an easy means of tracking payment statuses.

Crezco's account-to-account payments enable Nonna Tonda to pay suppliers in 37 currencies in 180 countries directly from their GBP bank account, converting GBP to EUR to settle with Italian suppliers instantly, eliminating the need for a separate foreign payment account.
Crezco has significantly aided us with international payments. It provides security and allows us to get a better deal than if we were to process these payments through the bank. Before Crezco, we used Lloyds, which was not as smooth, requiring multiple steps like using a card reader and entering various codes. Additionally, we also use Crezco for our payroll, which makes the process simpler and faster.

Nonna Tonda is introducing their clients to the culinary world of pastas through a monthly theme based on Italian regions. As they expand, they will continue to rely on Crezco to make payments to even more suppliers and employees.
