Challenge

Making payments to suppliers and employees is a time-consuming task in the daily life of a business. This often impacts business owner directly if they can’t delegate to others and have to make individual bank transfers for each payment. Now imagine the burden for businesses paying hundreds of suppliers and employees monthly. 

The biggest challenge we face is getting the amount of bills paid quickly without barriers. We seemed to spend a huge amount of time preparing bills, uploading them, then paying them also took forever. We have a huge amount of retailers, service providers, employees and subcontractors to pay daily and it was so time consuming with the process we were using.

Making manual transfers to suppliers and employees can risk sending money to the wrong bank details or recipients. This can lead to late payments, wasted time communicating back and forth, and redoing payments.  

Voltmetric needed a simple and secure payment solution to pay their suppliers and employees efficiently. They also needed a payment solution that worked with their favourite accounting software to reconcile payments automatically. 

Solution

Voltmetric chose Crezco because of its account-to-account payment solution. They can automatically import their invoices and contacts from Xero to Crezco, choose which invoices to pay, and pay or schedule them in a click. Once the payments are completed, they are automatically reconciled and marked as "paid" in Xero. Pay runs can be prepared on Crezco with ease and then shared with a director to approve and make the payment.

Now, it’s easier than ever for Voltmetric to bulk pay all their domestic and international suppliers, with the risk of manual error removed. They can also pay their employees in bulk, saving even more time. 

Results

Thanks to Crezco’s innovative and secure payment technology, Voltmetric can pay all their employees and suppliers in a click and reconcile all the payments within Xero automatically. This is a huge time-saver for the company as they don't need manually pay suppliers one-by-one anymore. Invoices and contacts are imported directly from Xero, significantly reducing the risk of error. Crezco flags any incomplete or inconsistent contact details before importing bills, so users know exactly what needs editing before making a payment to the flagged recipient. 

Crezco has given me an easier way to simply send a link to the Director to make payments, even just using his phone, and it has given the Director time back to actually visit sites - checking on staff and project progress, review tenders for future work and review processes for them to become more streamlined. In essence, it has given us time to do work we should actually be spending time on, rather than data input.
